A Presentation That Wasn't About Quail Bell (Not) Dear Fledglings, On March 16, Quail Bell editor Christine Stoddard spoke about her published works at a meeting of Richmond Christians Who Write. She was a secular presenter talking before a group of mainly Baptist writers interested in both mainstream and Christian publishing avenues. While Christine mentioned her forthcoming book, Images of America: Richmond Cemeteries, and other works, the presentation inevitably included a mention of Quail Bell Magazine and our premiere anthologies, The Nest and Airborne. Christine also sold and signed copies of the anthologies after the presentation. Earlier today, she received this kind letter from one of the event's attendees: Christine, Thank you so much for your talk to the RCWW group on Sunday afternoon at Grove Ave. Baptist Church. You did a great presentation and provided plenty of inspiration even as you expressed a great deal of sweet patience with all our questions! I've enjoyed your two books. A pleasant read! Thanks again, Carol Fan mail is always encouraging and encouraged!
