Open Your EyesYou may have observed a change in QB's visuals. That's because we're including more vintage images. Some of them are paintings; others are drawings; some come directly from old advertisements. We're also going to alter the look of our in-house images so that more of them resemble vintage ones. We figured our fledglings would appreciate such a move. Let us know what you think!

Yuletide BlessingsDear fledglings,
I'm writing not only to wish you a merry Christmas but to thank you for your love, support, and enthusiasm. Since I conceived the idea for Quail Bell Magazine in late 2009, I've been so grateful for the folks who've helped along the way. It's hard to be a full-time student and build a brand at the same time. Yet friends, family, and believers have made it possible. The QB brand has especially thrived since the launch of our new website in September 2011. We now garner 600-1300 unique page views a day--not bad considering we haven't even launched our ad campaign yet! Your page views, fan letters, 'zine subscriptions, gift shop purchases, and donations have encouraged The QB Crew to continue dreaming, creating, learning, and playing. We keep reaching, growing, and improving. I'm proud of the content The QB Crew's producing, and am so looking forward to what QB has in store for all our favorite fledglings in 2012. Thanks again for being faithful Quail Bell(e)s. Happy holidays! Feathery hugs, Christine Stoddard Executive Editor Quail Bell Magazine The Breadcrumbs widget will appear here on the published site.

Well, it's about time.We have to admit that we neglected our Press Kit for far too long. Now you should check out the updated version. There's still a bit to add, but at least we've corrected any errors and ensured that our masthead reflects our current staff.

McDaniel CredDirty Richmond, one of Richmond, VA's most popular style & culture blogs, recently mentioned an article that QB Executive Editor Christine Stoddard wrote about the blog's founder and his observations on vintage fashion in the former capital of the confederacy. Yay for cross-linking RVA media!

We're back!We know the QB site has been a bit lethargic over the past few days, but rest assured that our energy's not waning. Like you, we're overwhelmed with holiday prep and gearing up for a prosperous 2012. We haven't abandoned our favorite fledglings. Keep checking back as we add more content and make January our best month yet. Hurray for folklore and history!
