Strut Your Stuff and Support Richmond Conexiones! This is a call for performers for the 3rd Big Show-Off talent show, which will be held on Friday, March 13th at Gallery 5 in Richmond, Virginia! This is an opportunity for the flamboyant and profound, the lovely and hideous, the raucous and reserved to all be celebrated for one night on one stage! As always the alcohol will flow, the applause will thunder, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will all get prizes! If you are interested in participating in the talent show, becoming a sponsor or otherwise helping out, please contact Dustin King at [email protected]. ____________________________________________ All funds raised from the talent show will go to Richmond Conexiones, a small non-profit that facilitates common spaces in Southside Richmond for community programs created with the participation of local residents and a focus on social justice. Some of Richmond Conexiones’ programs include a summer lunch and healthy movement program that reaches over 200 kids; El Campo, a free summer soccer camp; a teen leadership group creating change in their community; a community garden; and a women’s embroidery group.
