We [heart] The Puffin FoundationPicture of Christine Stoddard at an outdoor Palm Sunday mass at the church Richmond's Mixteco community attends. By Zack Budryk. Whoopee! The Puffin Foundation recently awarded Executive Editor Christine Stoddard a grant to pursue an original QB photo comic on the history and folklore of the Mixteco Indians in Richmond. The comic is scheduled for release this fall, and will be available both online and in print. Right now Christine is gathering research for the comic with the help of Zack Budryk, a senior Journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University. Zack and Christine will present their preliminary findings at VCU's Poster Symposium for Undergraduate Research & Creativity. Here's another victory for QB! Thank you, Puffin!
