Managing Editor Gretchen Gales Featured in Dear English Major! We love sharing exciting news, especially if it involves one of our own Quail Bell(e)s! Our very own managing editor Gretchen Gales was featured on one of the most popular websites for English majors. Gretchen was interviewed in Dear English Major, an online resource for English majors past and present. The site interviews a number of successful English majors who work in the field and prove that there are plenty of options for wordsmiths all over the world. Gretchen talked about her role as managing editor as well as a marketing intern for Legacy Navigator. She also talked about her success in freelancing and other artistic endeavors, offering advice for aspiring writers. But Gretchen isn't the first Quail Bell(e) interviewed in Dear English Major; our founding editor Christine Stoddard was featured on the site back in 2014.
During 2017, Gretchen's writing was published in Ms., ROAR, The Mighty, NAMI, White Stag, and many other publications. She also made her debut as a visual artist in Animal, Escapism, Moonchild, Memoryhouse, among others. Recently, Gretchen opened her own Society6 shop with many designs seen on Quail Bell Magazine and other sites. Show your support for her work by checking out her online portfolio, reading her interviews, and sharing her work. Once again, congratulations to Gretchen! CommentsComments are closed.
