Before we got popular!
Here's an ad that the VCU Barnes & Noble in Richmond, VA posted right before our website went live in 2010:
Quail Bell Magazine: Launch Party at Barnes & Noble @ VCU
Barnes & Noble @ VCU hosts a launch party for literary magazine Quail Bell today, April 15, at 6 p.m. Christine Stoddard, a Richmond and D.C.-metro Renaissance woman, has founded Quail Bell Magazine, a go-to guide for all things magical: fashion spreads, essays, short stories, poems and art. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact ----.
Welcome to our staff blog, where you can learn more about The Quail Bell Crew.
Christine Stoddard conceived the idea for Quail Bell in late 2009 after writing a children's story by the same name, and launched the website as a college blog in 2010. In June 2013, Christine and former art director Kristen Rebelo officially launched Quail Bell Magazine as a global web magazine. Read our editorial mission statement to learn more.
