Mo' PoeLast night, Executive Editor Christine Stoddard screened The Persistence of Poe and Ravenmore at Marymount University in her hometown of Arlington, Virginia. The Persistence of Poe is an original Quail Bell documentary loyal readers have definitely heard about on more than one occasion. The film focuses on Edgar Allan Poe's life in Richmond, Virginia and his influence upon the city's creative community today. It also aired as part of the soft launch for Central Virginia Public Access Television last night. Ravenmore, meanwhile, is a short companion film to the documentary, and features an interpretative dance choreographed to a selection from Poe's poem, "The Raven."
We posted Ravenmore here on QuailBellMagazine.com last week, but we invite you to watch it on the big screen next Saturday, November 16th at the James River Filmmakers Forum as part of the James River Film Festival in Richmond, Virginia. The Quail Bell Crew will be tabling our lovely wares, so stop by and say 'hi.' More on Facebook... The Breadcrumbs widget will appear here on the published site.
