Have you seen our new Facebook fundraiser? We are getting things going for Her Plumage, our third anthology and need your help!

Quail Bell executive editor Gretchen Gales has long had a dream: To spearhead the next Quail Bell Magazine anthology. But she can't do it alone! And she wants to do it a very special way—by providing every single contributor with a copy (something she can't afford to do on her own and, frankly, the Quail Bell Crew can't, either.) Gigi, as we call her at Quail Bell, kept insisting on this creative project and we want to help her realize it. We are raising funds to get our third anthology, Her Plumage, out into the world the way she wants to do it because authors deserve copies of their work, even if it's something many small presses cannot provide. Her Plumage will be released by Emma Eden Ramos' Eudaimonia Press this summer. This is a BENEFIT anthology, with all of the proceeds going to She is Rising, an organization that supports survivors of gender violence and human trafficking. Because we won't be making any revenue from the book, we need modest funds to accomplish the following:

• Provide every contributor with one copy of the book
• Pay each editor a $100 honorarium for their time
• Have copies of the book on hand for future events (readings, literary festivals, art shows, etc.)
