Poe's Legacy Persists 210 Years Later
By The Editors
Back in Quail Bell's fledgling days, our founder Christine Stoddard* and her husband and collaborator David Fuchs created The Persistence of Poe, a 24-minute documentary about Poe's legacy in Virginia's capital city of Richmond.
Though he didn't spend very long there, Poe ultimately left behind over 200 years worth of Gothic literature and culture to many adoring fans. The project also includes the two short films Ravenmore and The Old Stone House. Many thanks again to the Poe Museum of Richmond, Virginia as well as VCUarts for supporting this project. Official merchandise is available through our Society6 store and you can also like the official Facebook page to keep track of new projects we put out as well as Poe memes!
Watch The Persistence of Poe for free through the Huffington Post. *Editors' note: Christine now goes by Christine Sloan Stoddard.
