Blanket Sea Publishes Executive Editor's EssayBy The Editors Executive editor Gretchen Gales has published her first piece about living with Tourette's Syndrome in Blanket Sea Magazine, a magazine dedicated to highlighting voices from the disability community. Her piece is called “What ‘Raising Tourette’s’ Means to Me as Someone Diagnosed in My 20s” and compares her own experiences with the A&E documentary miniseries. They also provide a list of resources to help those in need of assistance. She hopes to continue writing about her experiences with it to bring more awareness to the condition. Way to go, Gretchen!
Gretchen is not the only one to have connections with Blanket Sea. Assistant editor Erynn Porter is currently their Creative Nonfiction Editor. We love seeing our crew members succeed!
