Say 'Bye' to Cecile's Writer's (For Now)

​Cecile's Writers, an international magazine centering on diverse, intercultural voices, announced their temporary departure today.
​

Their 18th volume came with a statement from the magazine announcing their year-long hiatus. It was released today with a heartfelt message to their fans and supporters:

"We have reached a crossroads. Our personal circumstances demand more of our time and energy, and we find that we have little of either to spare. So, we have had to make a really hard choice: we will be taking a one-year break to attend to our personal projects. We hope to be back in 2020 with a fresher perspective and renewed motivation."

​For five years, Cecile's Writers has been run by a dedicated team of editors, including writers and innovators who have curated voices from around the globe. They recently announced their anthology The Voices of Many Lands, so we will luckily still have some gorgeous words to sustain us until their return in 2020.
