Runway Trends I'm Most Excited to Wear in 2020

We're rolling into the Roaring 2020s, and I'm so damn ready to wear some bold new fashions...and resurrect some old favorites. Besides flapper dresses and cocktail parties, we can expect revamped favorites from the early days of the millennium and new decade-setting innovations. So if you're looking for suggestions on how to rock the runway trends, stay tuned for my own personal assessment of what will be the best runway trends of 2020 to wear on the daily.

The Pantone Color of the Year is PANTONE 19-4052, more commonly known as Classic Blue. This calming color was chosen by the famous color institute for its "constancy and confidence" as well as the desire for stability and dependability in a new decade. We can of course expect classic blue denim to persevere throughout the next decade as it has for many of them. But I'm looking forward to the color finding its way in solid dresses, skirts, and more. The popular nature of the color will make it easy to find when thrifting or shopping for more sustainable clothing choices.

Remember in 2011 when the new thing was to have feathers in your hair and as earrings? This time, plaster them all over your body. Feather tops and coats are invading your nest, and you can choose to go subtle or all out with the trend.

Bags, dresses, tops, pants, shoes, everything is being plastered with all sorts of animal prints. The late 90's to early 2000's embraced the animal print trend hard, and baby, it's back! Just in time for those harsh winters, there has been a boom in animal print coats. The best part about this trend is that you can easily thrift animal print items from secondhand stores, a way to help the environment, the place some of our best fashions are inspired by regularly.
