We Need Submissions for our Black Lives Matter Anthology!
By The Editors
While regular submissions are still open as always, we do have a special call for our latest anthology, which will highlight Black (yes, a capital B. Check the new AP style book rule!) voices.
Here are the deets: We're reading for fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Submissions that were previously published are okay as long as your hold the rights. Submissions don't have to be related to current events, but they should be unapologetically Black.
Those chosen will receive a free contributor's copy of the anthology, which will be possible through our crowdfunding campaign. The collection will be curated by three amazingly talented Black editors who will be compensated for their time. Submit to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line ANTHOLOGY in all caps by July 15th.
Please note that this is for Black writers ONLY. Normal submissions are still in consideration for the website and we will have plenty of opportunities in the future for anthology submissions. Please share the poster above on your social media and with those who are interested.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
