Animal Connections
Throughout Langford’s personal body of work she is inspired by the unexpected beauties in nature and it’s constant human interactions. Her focus is through pen and ink illustrations and studies that explores surrealistic narratives and the unique connections among animal identities. 
Amelia Blair Langford is a Virginia-based visual artist and designer who specializes in pen and ink illustrations. She completed her BFA with distinction in 2012 from VCU School of Arts and has continued to work for the School of the Arts since graduation. She recently traveled to Grinnell, Iowa and completed the Grin City Artist Collective Residency in spring 2014. Langford has exhibited her work in several shows throughout New York and Virginia, including her apparel release and solo show at New Normal Apparel Company entitled, "The Treasure Hunt."
