The Paris I Remember
The Paris I remember is not one gripped by fear.
It's one with beautiful city views...
...with fine dining...
...and food more simple.
Hey, it's all still really good to eat.
I remember Paris for its monuments and museums...
...with a wide variety of art. From the sculptures and fountains...
...to the works in the Musee D'Orsay.
I remember Paris for the cemeteries...
...for they house the people whose lives we should never forget.
NEVER forget.
I remember Paris for it's open mic nights...
...where I could read my poetry...
...and spend time with amazing people.
I don't want to remember a Paris wrapped in fear, with people afraid to walk around. I want to remember a lively Paris, a thriving Paris, a Paris that's driving forward and always growing, with more people coming to it each year and leaving with a desire to return. 
That's the Paris I want to remember.
