The Rumblings of HonorBy Papa Quail QuailBellMagazine.com ![]() Rev 'em up! We're going to the Wall—the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, that is. Rolling Thunder Run to the Wall is an annual motorcycle rally that takes place the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. This year about 400,000 motorcyclists rode from the Pentagon parking lot in Arlington, Virginia to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. The rally, which has taken place every year since 1988, represents the participants' continued demand to find Prisoners of War and Missing in Action service men and women from past U.S. conflicts. The event is less commonly known as the Ride for Freedom.
