Monsters At The Foot Of My Bed The reasons why I've been so successful in influencing people's beliefs about faeries include my knowledge, personal experiences, and evidence of other witness accounts, as well as coincidences too uncanny to be sheer coincidence. The encounter I'm about to address has to do with Kappas, a type of nature spirit that highly acknowledged by Shintoism. When I first started "intentionally" practicing witchcraft, I had many of the magical mishaps that most budding occultists experience, including the accidental summoning of malevolent beings or entities I hadn't intended to draw forth. I learned how to perform successful banishments this way and a lot about spirits in general, but since I had just began to work with faeries, I often attracted something more peculiar than a vagrant human spirit. At the time, my reading material was mostly confined to the realm of Celtic Paganism, folklore, and folk magic. When you embark upon opening your third eye, you begin to pick up on new things. The elements of spellcraft allow the caster to enhance their psychic senses and energetic sensitivity which, in turn, personally enhanced my manifestive abilities. Faery communication requires third eye vision which usually surpasses the strength of the third eye sight that allows mediums to speak with departed human spirits simply because of those who desire to contact faeries have to work within a different mindset. From what I can tell, a lot of mediums lack the ability to sense animated nature spirits and interdimensional beings in general, let alone faeries from the deeper realms whose existence differs drastically from the lives of spirits with physical bodies. Without scrupulous precision, you cannot be sure just who might be coming through. Setting up a ritual to communicate just any faery usually brings about the guests you'd rather not welcome. In order to be a physical being, your summative vibration (which includes the glow of your aura, determined by the rate at which the atoms comprising a body vibrate) must be dense. If humans were more high-vibrational, we wouldn't have physical forms. Understand that faeries are so high-vibrational that they do not assume a physical form 100 percent of the time. One of the reasons people see faeries as small is because they had to densen their vibrations in order to achieve a physical manifestation, although physical manifestation is very doable for them. This happened just as I was learning to discern between which spirits to consort with and the importance of specificity in ritual settings. Understanding faeries came quite naturally to me, so I was quite "social" at the time, so social that I guess I attracted the attention of two Kappas. Kappas are water-dwellers who are prone to aggressive behavior like drowning and eating humans. Some believe that Kappas are actually the same Japanese giant salamanders that also drag people under the water. Although they're reputed to be malicious, I once read that if they're willing, they can teach bone-setting and healing along with a strong body of spiritual and medical knowledge. Like many nature spirits, they can be generous and helpful or mischevious and downright predatory. Kappas have a reputation for hiding in toilets and preying on the women who use them. One night, I was meditating before bed when it came to my attention that there were two little reptilian-looking beings in my room standing a little over a foot tall. I'm pretty sure they were very young. They had scaley dark green skin, orange eyes, claw-like digits at the end of squat arms and large, beak-like mouths that matched the rest of their body. I was a little weirded out but just saged around my bed and went to sleep. After a few days, they were still there, but instead, they started swatting at my feet. I didn't feel a physical touch, just an alien semi-tickling sensation. I thought that they were massaging my feet for a while but after studying their behavior, they just liked swatting at them. Of course, I was skeptical about the little interdimensional dinosaur creatures with dull and halo-esque circles around their heads, pointy teeth and claws antagonizing me, but I wasn't scared out of my wits. Even back then, I had already seen much scarier. Although the vibe was certainly menacing to a degree, it wasn't gut-wrenching or horrifying. Back in the day, the Yahoo Pagan chat was an excellent place for Pagans to connect and share information. I learned a lot from the people who used to frequent that chat. Despite always coming with outlandish-sounding crises about faeries and ghosts, they were always very helpful. Now, how was hell was I going to explain this one? Somehow, I typed a brief summary of my situation and began talking to an individual who frequently consorted with nature spirits and interdimensional beings. I described the creatures to him. "Do you live by the water?" he asked. I was stunned. I didn't have my location on my profile, so there was no way he could have known that I live about two blocks away from a beach. He then sent me a link to a site about Kappas. The nature spirit in the picture looked almost exactly like the beings in my room! I have a feeling that they were young. "I'm sorry. Kappas can be quite cruel," he said. "Do some standard banishing ritual stuff and see if iron works." I got my giant iron key, my main protective amulet against malevolent faeries and spirits. I think I charged it and did a banishing/protective rite. Thankfully, I haven't seen them since but I've heard that they have the capacity to be very sweet. I definitely think that I was lucky to not have anything more happen. #Real #Kappas #Folklore #Mythology #Magic #Fairies #Spirits #Nature #Witch Visit our shop and subscribe. Sponsor us.
