Libra season officially began on September 23rd and will last until October 23rd. Libra is all about balance, equality, and justice. Libras are also known to be diplomatic, fashionable, and quite intelligent. As an air sign, they are experts on communication and information.

As we all enter Libra season, why not practice some affirmations that we could all use during this time? No Libra placements necessary (but you'd be cooler if you did have them).

Taking care of myself isn't selfish.

Self-care is an essential part of maintaining your body, mind, and spirit. Libra is all about beauty, but they also tend to overexert themselves to take care of others. If you struggle with remembering to take care of yourself, it's time to be pampered. Buy a pack of face masks or make your own recipe from scratch.

I can make lasting, powerful connections.

Libras are charismatic and are surrounded by friends. They are charming and can find friends and connections in many places. If you've been feeling lonely or need to start networking, embrace Libra's energy and trust that you can make it happen. Maybe it's time to schedule some time with old friends or continue bonding with new ones.

I trust myself.

Trusting your gut seems easy enough...until it isn't. Why do we struggle so hard to trust our intuition? Especially during times of uncertainty, we're quick to push away our own judgements in favor of waiting things out or consulting countless others to make decisions that are actually ours. So yes, you, trust that you are the best captain for your ship this season.

I can give new perspectives a chance.

Libra is all about equality and seeing all sides of the truth. They are investigators and judges of fairness. If you've been feeling close-minded or stubborn lately, it's time to open your mind to the opposing viewpoint. Or maybe just try something new!

I will up my fashion game.

Libras are stylish. Every Libra I know has a distinct style that is unmistakable and impossible to replicate. But that doesn't mean you can't bring new game to your own closet! Clean out clothes you haven't worn in three or more months, get rid of that raggedy T-shirt, and run by a boutique thrift store to find a new staple piece. Or check out Etsy or another online secondhand shop where you can buy a new-to-you piece.
