Quail Bell Magazine (www.quailbellmagazine.com) has existed as an online publiction since May 2010 but the new website has only been around since September 2011. This multimedia magazine features work that explores the imaginary, the nostalgic, and the otherworldly through creative and journalistic. Now the folks behind Quail Bell--primarily young artists and writers from Richmond, VA--want to take some of their favorite QB pieces from pixels to paper.
This fall, QB plans to release its first print version, called Quail Bell Express. Quail Bell Express would feature a color cardstock cover with 52 crisp, clean black & white pages worth of content. Your donation would help fund the first 200-250 copies of Quail Bell Express (depending upon current paper/print costs). From there, QB would like to showcase the 'zine to potential sponsors to fund future issues (and maybe other print projects, too!)
